Car Sales Manager – Used Car Sales (Sydney – Australia)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruit, lead, manage, and motivate a team of Salesmen to achieve sales targets.
- Establish clear sales goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall targets.
- Regularly assess the performance of salesmen, providing feedback, guidance, and support to help them achieve their targets.
- Provide training and development opportunities to salesmen to enhance their skills and improve sales performance.
- Achieve a monthly sales target
- Oversee the management of sales leads, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads into sales.
- Assist salesmen in negotiating deals and closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage the sales department’s budget, ensuring expenses are controlled and financial targets are met.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting performance against targets, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and trends in the new and used car markets.
Requirements
- More than 5 years in the relevant field is required
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Proven track record in sales in the automotive industry, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, sales performance, and financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
